North Carolina State Fair records second-highest attendance ever
RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina State Fair officials confirmed that this year’s attendance was the second highest in its history.
In a Twitter post, the fair said it totaled 1,028,364 people. That number is second to only 2010, which drew 1,091,887 visitors.
WRAL reports this year was only the fourth time in its history that the fair topped 1 million people.
150,747 people showed up on Saturday and the festivities concluded with 116,041 people on Sunday.
