Gibsonville woman creates beautiful fabric art

GIBSONVILLE, N.C. -- Anne DeLapp calls herself a "fabric illustrator."

DeLapp, owner of Originals by Anne, sees a picture in her head, puts it onto paper, colors it and turns it into fabric.

Although she offers customers plenty of options, she becoming known for her musical themed art.

"You have fabric sandwiches, and you make them individually," DeLapp said. "You put them together and they create a vision, a melody or a scene. Everything I've ever made has a story."
