One person injured after early morning shooting in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. – One person was treated for non-life-threatening injuries after a shooting in Greensboro early Sunday morning, according to police.

Greensboro police said officers responded to 2302 West Gate City Boulevard at about 12:46 a.m. in reference to the incident.

Arriving officers found a victim suffering a gunshot wound and emergency workers treated the victim at the scene.

Police have not released a motive, any suspect information or the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
