Michelle Obama to rally with Hillary Clinton in Winston-Salem on Thursday
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Michelle Obama will join Hillary Clinton at a rally in Winston-Salem on Thursday, according to the Clinton campaign.
A time and place for the rally has not been released. This will be their first joint appearance at a campaign rally, according to a Clinton spokesperson.
“Clinton and Mrs. Obama will lay out what is at stake in November and urge North Carolinians to early vote to support the Clinton-Kaine ticket,” a Clinton press release stated.
The Democratic presidential candidate campaigned in Charlotte and Raleigh on Sunday.
Donald Trump will campaign in Kinston on Wednesday and his running mate, Mike Pence, will be in Greensboro on Monday.
Clinton has a 12-point lead over Trump and has reached 50% support nationally among likely voters, a new ABC News tracking poll shows.
