RAMSEUR, N.C. — One person was airlifted to the hospital Friday after a crash involving a Randolph County Schools driver’s education car, according to authorities.

Highway patrol said they responded to the crash at U.S. 64 and Eastern Randolph School Road at about 6:22 p.m.

The identity of the victim, extent of the injuries and circumstances surrounding the incident have not been released.

The Asheboro Courier-Tribune reported that the crash involved the white driver’s education car and a black Honda car.
