Police investigating deadly shooting in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. —  A 27-year-old Greensboro man died after he was shot several times Tuesday morning.

At about 9:30 a.m., police responded to the 300 block of Gant Street after a witness called 911 to report that an adult male had been severely injured.

The victim, Sakwane Allah Wray, was taken by ambulance to a local hospital and was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.

Police say they have a limited suspect description and the investigation is ongoing.

This is Greensboro’s 26th homicide of the year.
