Winton-Salem woman accused of stabbing man

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – A Winston-Salem woman is accused of stabbing and injuring a man at her apartment, according to police.

Roselyn Elaine Walker, 56, has been charged has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.

Police responded to the incident at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the suspect’s apartment at 2820 Pelham Place.

The 57-year-old victim was found with a stab wound to his chest and was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police. He was listed in stable condition as of Sunday.

The suspect was jailed in Forsyth County without bond. Police said the stabbing has a domestic violence component.
