Three women arrested for fighting at North Carolina home

GASTONIA, N.C. – Three family members were arrested after a fight at a North Carolina home, according to the Gaston Gazette.

Frances Renee Graham McCoy, daughter Amanda Lynn Lewis and another relative, Glenda Marie Shelton all face charges in the incident.

Police said officers were called in reference to the fight on Saturday evening to the Gastonia home that McCoy and Shelton.

McCoy, 56, is accusing of pushing her daughter Lewis against a wall and putting her in a headlock.

Shelton, 20, is also accused of following Lewis into a bathroom and punching her.

All three were charges with simple assault. Shelton and McCoy were released on written promises and Lewis was given a $1,000 secured bond.
