Singer James Taylor to campaign for Hillary Clinton in NC

CARRBORO, N.C. – Singer-songwriter James Taylor will campaign for Hillary Clinton in Carrboro on Sunday, according to the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Taylor will be at the Carrboro Coordinated Campaign Office at 209 E. Main St. at 1:15 p.m., the campaign said in a prepared statement.

“Taylor will discuss the incredibly high stakes in this election for North Carolinians from all walks of life and highlight Clinton’s commitment to putting families first and building an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top,” according to a campaign press released.

Taylor is a five-time Grammy Award winner, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000. He is known for songs including “Fire and Rain” and “Carolina in My Mind.”
