1 injured in overnight drive-by shooting in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — One person was injured in a drive-by shooting in a Greensboro neighborhood, according to authorities.

Police say officers were called to Moses Cone Hospital in reference to a walk-in gunshot victim who was walking on Gillespie Street near Spencer Street when a passing car shot them.

The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The victim’s name and address are being temporarily withheld.

The investigation is ongoing.
