FOX8 crew visit Haiti with Samaritan’s Purse

FOX8 photographer Chris Weaver and reporter Bob Buckley are boarding a plane Thursday morning to travel to Haiti with Samaritan's Purse workers.

They are making the 3-hour flight to deliver much-needed supplies to victims affected by Hurricane Matthew.

Hurricane Matthew pounded western Haiti and eastern Cuba Tuesday, packing powerful winds and heavy rain.

Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world.
