3 arrested in connection with murder of Yadkinville man
YADKINVILLE, N.C. — Three people were arrested and charged in connection with the death of a Yadkinville man.
On Sept. 2, officials received a call in reference to a body lying in the driveway of a residence on Hoots Road. Upon arrival, deputies identified the man as 68-year-old Jack Wilson Brooks.
After an in-depth investigation, Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and the Mooresville Police Department, charged the individuals with Brooks’ death.
Mary Ann Waddell, 37, and Anthony Ryan Hill, 36, were charged with first-degree murder. Jackie Mark Creed, 46, was charged with accessory after the fact of murder, second-degree burglary and felony larceny.
Waddell is under a $500,000 secured bond, Creed is under a $250,000 secured bond and Hill is under no bond.
