Funeral arrangements set for Forsyth County deputy struck by vehicle at Tanglewood Park

Deputy Sheriff John Thomas Isenhour

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Funeral arrangements for Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Deputy John T. Isenhour have been completed, according to Chief Deputy Brad Stanley.

Isenhour died on Wednesday as a as a result of being struck by a vehicle on Sept. 18 while performing his law enforcement duties.

A graveside service will be held next Thursday at 2 p.m. at Salisbury National Cemetery, located at 202 Government Road, Salisbury.

Isenhour, 38, had been employed by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office since Oct. 26, 2015. Prior to his service with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, Isenhour served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 17 years.
