Thomasville power outage

DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — Thomasville City Schools are on a two-hour delay after more than 1,500 Duke Energy customers in Thomasville lost power overnight.

As of 5:41 a.m., the reason for the outage is unknown and crews are working to resolve the matter.

Duke Energy’s outage map estimates that power will not be restored to affected customers until 6 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.
