GREENSBORO, N.C. – The person shot and killed Tuesday at 2400 E. Bessemer Ave. has been identified as 26-year-old Ayman Abdalla Babikir.

Officers responded to suite C at this location, which is described as a local meeting place, at approximately 11:34 p.m. on Tuesday. They found Babikir by his vehicle, suffering from several gunshot wounds to his upper torso. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his wounds several hours later.

Detectives have interviewed some people of interest, however, have not identified a suspect at this point.
