CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Protests erupted in Charlotte on Tuesday and Wednesday, turning violent on both nights.
Several people — civilians and law enforcement officers — have been injured. On Wednesday night, a civilian was critically injured when they were shot by another civilian.
The protests stem from the fatal shooting of Keith Lamont Scott by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Officer Brentley Vinson.
