1 injured after overnight shooting in Greensboro


GREENSBORO, N.C. — A person was shot and injured during an overnight shooting in Greensboro.

At about 1:15 a.m., officers responded to the 800 Block of Green Oaks Street in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered a victim suffering from a single gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury.

No suspect information was available and the victim’s name is being temporarily withheld.

The investigation is ongoing.
