Resident fires shot during overnight home invasion; police search for suspects

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police are investigating an overnight home invasion that occurred in the 1000 block of Fir Place Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to the call at about 4:45 a.m. and discovered home residents fired a gunshot at the suspects and they fled the scene.

Additional details about the home invaders were not immediately available and it’s unknown if any of the suspects were injured during the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
