North Carolina mother charged with leaving infant in hot car
RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh mom has been charged with child abuse after she reportedly left her infant child in a hot car for more than 20 minutes.
WTVD reported that arrest warrants show Sonya Jinnelle Talbot, 37, was charged with misdemeanor child abuse on Thursday.
Warrants did not disclose where the crime happened, or how it was brought to officer’s attention.
Raleigh police said the infant boy is almost 3 months old and is not harmed.
Talbot is being held at the Wake County Jail.
