Teen’s kind gesture to homeless man prompts global reaction online

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A Facebook video that shows a 14-year-old Kentucky teenager giving the new shoes off his feet to a homeless man is going viral and capturing thousands of hearts in the process.

WAVE reports one nonprofit organization called Purpme spent their Labor Day feeding the homeless.

While volunteering, teenager LaRon Tunstill saw one man with ripped shoes and wanted to help.

So, "Ron Ron" approached the man and asked if he could say a quick prayer before taking the new Air Jordan's off his feet and handing them to him.

“Just do what God said, love one another,” said LaRon Tunstill.

Purpme or Purpose, Inc. stands for people uplifting real people and the organization works to make a positive difference in the greater Louisville, Kentucky area.

GoFundMe page has been set up for the organization.
