Pizza delivery driver robbed at gunpoint in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Police are investigating after a pizza delivery driver in Winston-Salem was robbed by two suspects at gunpoint, according to police.

Winston-Salem police said officers were called to 915 Delmonte Drive shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday in reference to the incident.

One suspect allegedly approached the Domino’s delivery driver and forced the victim to the ground.

The suspect then placed a handgun to the victim’s back and demanded money and other items, according to police.

Police said a second suspect arrived and took the victim’s keys and rummaged through the delivery vehicle and took several personal items.

Both suspects fled the area on foot after taking an undisclosed amount of money and personal items. The victim was not injured.
