NC teen accused of breaking into home, shooting dog to death
GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A North Carolina teen allegedly broke into a home, stole guns and shot the victim’s dog.
On Aug. 16, police say 16-year-old Jalen Devon Taylor broke into a Goldsboro home, stole the guns and electronics and shot the dog.
He is charged with breaking and entering, larceny of a firearm, larceny, cruelty to animals and possession of a stolen firearm.
The victim’s dog “Lyndi” was killed during the attack.
Taylor was arrested in connection with the break-in on Aug. 31. He was taken to the Wayne County Jail on a $10,000 secured bond.
