Man sustains life-threatening injuries after motorcycle crash in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – A motorcyclist has life-threatening injuries after a crash Saturday morning in Winston-Salem, according to police.

James Allen Johnson, 28, of Winston-Salem, was taken to a local hospital to be treated after the crash, according to Winston-Salem.

Officers were called to the wreck at about 9:30 a.m. on the entrance ramp to US 52 North near South Main Street. The victim was found to be suffering from life-threatening injuries.

The preliminary investigation indicates Johnson sustained injuries from a collision with another motorcycle on the ramp just before merging onto US 52 North.

The Winston-Salem Police Department’s Traffic Enforcement Unit responded to the scene and has assumed the investigation.
