GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. -- Guilford County students head back to class next week.

This year, there’s a new online tool that helps parents make sure their kids are staying on top of their studies.

Guilford Parent Academy has launched “Family Engagement On-Demand” – a digital tool giving parents access to videos covering popular education topics.

“These videos are really for parents who are on the go, but still want to stay connected and learn about ways that they can support the learning of their children from home,” said Lindsay Whitley, director of Guilford Parent Academy.

The videos cover a variety of topics including how to help your child with homework, preparing for a test, and getting ready for college.

The videos are the same information covered in Guilford Parent Academy workshops, but this is an additional option for parents who can’t make the workshops because of their schedules.

Parents can access the on-demand portal from anywhere, anytime via a computer or mobile device.
