GASTONIA, N.C. — North Carolina parents allegedly overdosed on heroin with their 8- and 9-year-old boys inside the house, according to WSOC.

The boys reportedly found their parents, Michael Boswell, 34, and Cynthia Carrigan, 40, unconscious on the bathroom floor and ran to the landlord for help.

When the unnamed landlord first arrived, Carrigan had a pulse, but Boswell did not, so she began CPR on the mother.

“Don’t let my mommy die, don’t let my mommy die,” she said the boys yelled to her, according to WSOC.

Paramedics were able to revive both parents, and they are facing charges for endangering their children.
