Gunshots fired into occupied residence in Burlington overnight

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Burlington police are searching for answers after multiple gunshots were fired into an occupied residence Tuesday morning.

At 4:16 a.m., authorities responded to a shots fired call at the 400 block of South Saint John Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered that someone fired multiple rounds into the home.

No one was injured and the investigation is ongoing.
