CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Three people disappeared from the Charlotte area last week and Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said Tuesday they are investigating the case as a homicide, according to WSOC.

Sandra Le, 23, Alex Castillo, 17, and Ahmia Feaster, 19, disappeared last week.

Police said Tuesday Le’s car had been located in Phoenix, Arizona, and they are investigating her disappearance as a homicide.

The case now involves Arizona authorities and the FBI, according to WBTV. Castillo and Feaster are believed to be in Mexico.

Le went missing from her home Wednesday, WBTV reports. Family members of Castillo said he had not returned home after being picked up by Feaster Thursday. Feaster was reported missing by her family Friday and her car was located Saturday morning in the Charlotte area.

Feaster and Castillo reportedly called their families Saturday night, saying they were safe but didn’t know where they were, a private investigator told WBTV.

All three worked at Showmar’s restaurant in Charlotte.
