Greensboro police investigating two armed robberies

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are investigating two robberies that took place late Thursday night.

At about 10:53 p.m., officers responded to the 2400 block of Liberty Road in reference to an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that one victim was robbed by three armed suspects. They took an undisclosed amount of money and personal property.

About 5 minutes later, police responded to the 1800 block of Bristol Road in reference to another armed robbery. The victim was approached by two armed suspects who took also took money and personal property

Authorities believe that the two robberies are involved, as the suspects fled in a blue sedan each time.

The investigation is ongoing.
