2 North Carolina teenagers struck by lightning on Florida beach

CLEARWATER, Fla. — Two North Carolina teenagers were rushed to the hospital after they were struck by lightning on a Florida beach Tuesday afternoon, WFTS reports.

As of Wednesday morning, 15-year-old Cameron Poimboeuf is in critical condition and the second victim, 18-year-old Jansen Tabor, is in serious condition.

According to the Clearwater Public Safety Twitter page, they were on the beach around 4:30 when the lightning struck them.
