Location announced for President Obama, Hillary Clinton campaign event in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — President Barack Obama and presumptive democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will campaign in Charlotte on Tuesday. It will be their first campaign event together.

On Thursday night, the Clinton campaign said in an email the event will start at 3 p.m. at the Charlotte Convention Center, located at 501 S. College St.

The Clinton campaign had previously estimated that the event would start at 12:30 p.m.

“In Charlotte, President Obama and Hillary Clinton will discuss building on the progress we’ve made and their vision for an America that is stronger together,” the Clinton campaign said.

Doors will open at 1 p.m.
