New details emerge about hiking fall at Hanging Rock

STOKES COUNTY, N.C. – Rescue crews were on the scene Sunday after one person fell about 20-30 feet at Hanging Rock State Park.

Officials say the hiker was trekking the park’s 4.7-mile Moore’s Wall Loop Trail when he fell.

The victim was taken to the hospital. His identity and condition have not been released.
