Nature Made vitamins recalled over possible staph, salmonella contamination

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Pharmavite LLC announced on Tuesday that they are recalling several Nature Made products due to possible salmonella or staph contamination. The recalled products were distributed nationwide to various major retailers, according to a release byPharmavite.

Pharmavite issued the voluntary recall out of an “abundance of caution to protect public health.”

According to the company, the recall was issued after Salmonella and/or Staphylococcus aureus testing were not completed properly on specific batch lots.

The recalled products are:

  • Nature Made Adult Gummies Multivitamins
  • Nature Made Adult Gummies Multi + Omega-3
  • Nature Made Adult Gummies Multi for Her plus Omega-3s
  • Nature Made Super B Complex w/C  Folic Acid Tablets

The lot number can be found on the back panel next to the expiration date.

If you purchased a product included in the recall, you can return it to the retailer for a full refund.
