CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man accused of killing a Guilford County teacher has pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter Thursday, according to WSOC.
Angelo Smith was arrested in 2014 for the death of Bianca Tanner.
Smith strangled Tanner and left her body in the woods.
He pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter, kidnapping, concealment of a death and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
His plea will see him spend 19 years in prison.
