North Carolina woman charged with common law robbery, breaking and entering

IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — One woman was arrested and two men are wanted in connection to a breaking and entering and robbery at an Iredell County home.

The Statesville Record & Landmark reported that 34-year-old Jessica Maureen Bridges faces charges of common law robbery and breaking and entering.

The victim told deputies that it started after he traded a phone for a speaker with another man.

The man became upset and went to the victim’s home to get the speaker back, according to authorities.

He allegedly brought two other people, one of which was Bridges. The suspects are accused of forcing their way into the home at gunpoint and threatening to kill the victim. They allegedly took the speaker.

Bridges was arrested at her home on Thursday and jailed under a $7,500 bond.

Ryan Hope Hughes, 34, and Dustin Clay Gatton, 34, are still being sought in connection to the incident.
