Shooting in Greensboro injures 1; suspect sought

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A shooting in Greensboro injured a person on Monday afternoon, according to Lt. W. Graves with Greensboro police.

Officers responded to the 200 block of Webster Road at 4:30 p.m. in reference to a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located one victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Graves did not disclose their condition.

The suspect is described as a man wearing a gray shirt and a red hat.

The name of the victim is being withheld temporarily, Graves said.
