Showers, thunderstorms to continue overnight in Piedmont Triad

Showers and thunderstorms are expected through tonight and tomorrow.

A cold front will sweep through tomorrow night and put an end to the storm threat. This will also lead to a cool down for the last half of the week. What many call Blackberry Winter will arrive.

Lows tonight in the lower 60s, highs tomorrow in the upper 70s. Back to the mid-50s tomorrow night. Wednesday will be partly cloudy with highs in the lower 70s. Then we dip to the upper 40s on Wednesday night. Highs on Thursday only in the low to mid-60s. Back to the mid-40s on Thursday night.

Friday will be partly cloudy with highs in the upper 70s. Saturday and Sunday (Mother’s Day) will be sunny with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s and lows in the 50s.
