Burlington man charged with indecent liberties with a child
GRAHAM, N.C. — A Burlington man is accused of taking indecent liberties with a child, according to Alamance County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Randy Jones.
Joshua Michael Casey, 21, of Burlington, is charged with statutory rape and indecent liberties with a child.
On March 30, deputies with the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint regarding statutory rape.
The incident reportedly happened at a private residence in the southern part of Alamance County.
Casey was charged on April 29 and released on bond.
Over the weekend, Jones said Casey violated some provisions of that bond.
When Casey made his first court appearance on Monday, he was charged with violating provisions of his release, Jones said.
Casey is being held in the Alamance County Jail under a $10,000 secured bond for violating the provisions of his release.
