Two arrested, one sought in string of recent Burlington shootings

BURLINGTON, N.C. – Two people have been arrested and one more is still wanted in connection to multiple recent shootings reported throughout Burlington.

Darion Trevon Crittle, 17, and Dominique Oneil Harvey, 24, both of Burlington, face charges in connection to some of the reported shootings.

Burlington police said the shootings appear to have been planned and appear to have intended targets. People, vehicles and occupied homes were shot at.

Innocent uninvolved victims have been caught in the crossfire in some situations, according to police.

Crittle has charged been charged with one count of assault with a deadly weapon and was jailed in Alamance County under a $30,000 secured bond.

Harvey has been charged with one count of possession of ammunition by a felon and was jailed in Alamance County under no bond.

Kevon Shawn Dark, 24, of Burlington, has been charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied Dwelling. Authorities are still looking for him.
