LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A Pennsylvania man faces multiple charges after allegedly taking pictures of a 10-year-old girl in a convenience store restroom.

James Thomas Shoemaker, 19, was found hiding in the stall of the ladies room at a Sheetz in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on April 14, WPMT reports.

Employees at the store said Shoemaker was in the bathroom for about an hour, according to WHTM. Investigators determined he was watching pornography on his cell phone before using the camera to look over at the stall next to him.

Police told WPMT he used his phone to take pictures of the 10-year-old girl.

Shoemaker later gave consent for officers to search the contents of his phone including all photographs. The phone was sent to the Office of the District Attorney of Lancaster County Investigation Division – Computer Forensic Unit for analysis.

The analysis was completed on April 15 and revealed numerous nude photos of a female determined to be Shoemaker’s girlfriend, a 16-year-old juvenile.

Shoemaker faces charges of invasion of privacy for the incident at the Sheetz and possession of child pornography for the photos on his cell phone.

Shoemaker, who was free awaiting a hearing on the invasion of privacy charge, was arrested on Thursday.

Following his arraignment, he was sent to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $250,000 bail.
