Several roads closed following house fire in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Several roads are closed following a house fire in Winston-Salem.

Multiple stations responded to a call about a house fire on East Devonshire Street at 12:44 p.m. Saturday.

The home was occupied when the fire broke out, but no one was injured.

Investigators are still trying to determine what sparked the fire. The home is considered a total loss.

Several roads near the home are now closed due to heavy smoke in the area.

The following roads are closed:

  • Sprague Street at Dacian Street
  • Dacian Street  at Goldfloss  Street
  • Old Lexington Road at Goldfloss Street
  • Old Lexington Road at Devinshire Street
  • Gold Floss Street at Sprague Street
