Greensboro woman charged with 7 counts of statutory rape

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Greensboro woman has been charged with multiple counts of statutory rape, according to Guilford County Sheriff BJ Barnes.

Christy Lynn Foster, 45, of Greensboro, is charged with seven counts of statutory rape and five counts of indecent liberties with a with a child.

Foster was arrested on Thursday, Barnes said.

On March 13, deputies received information alleging sexual conduct had occurred between a 13-year-old male and a female adult, Barnes said.

The allegations indicated that the sexual conduct occurred between April 2012 and September 2012.

Forster was placed in the Guilford County Jail under a $100,000 secured bond.

Foster is scheduled to appear in court May 17.
