GREENSBORO, N.C. — Two friends were planning to eat pizza Friday afternoon when someone came into the house and fatally shot one of them in the head, according to a recently released 911 call.

Corleon Andre Augustine, 19, of North Vyne Street in Rocky Mount, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Nijah Daejour Jones, 19, of Drew Street in Rocky Mount. Jones was shot at an apartment at 4610 Brompton Drive around 1:05 p.m. Friday. Police said Augustine and Jones were friends that got into an argument that resulted in Jones’ death.

A friend of Jones called 911 Friday to report the shooting.

“Somebody just came in shooting,” the man said to the dispatcher. “Shot my friend in the head, like he is dead, right in the living room floor.”
