Man riding hoverboard robbed at gunpoint in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man riding a hoverboard was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night in Greensboro.

Officers with the Greensboro Police Department responded to 129 Greenbriar Road in reference to an armed robbery just before 9 p.m.

The victim told police he was riding his hoverboard at the apartment complex when a red sedan pulled up and the right front passenger displayed a gun, demanding that he hand over the hoverboard.

According to authorities, the vehicle then fled the area.

The victim was not injured during the incident.
