PURCELL, Okla. — Hundreds of people from across the country came together this weekend to eat with the Internet sensation, “Sad Papaw.”

Kenny Harmon was dubbed “Sad Papaw” after one of this granddaughters tweeted a photo of him looking disappointed when only one of his six grandkids showed up to dinner.

Kelsey Harmon tweeted the photo and said, “Dinner with papaw tonight…he made 12 burgers for all 6 grandkids and I’m the only one who showed. (crying emoji) love him.”

Thanks to his five grandkids who didn’t show up, “Sad Papaw” won’t be eating burgers alone again anytime soon.

Hundreds of fans flocked to Oklahoma Saturday just to share a burger with him. At least one even traveled from Australia just to meet the Internet sensation in person.
