GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police are seeking public assistance in locating a missing man.

Jim Downey, 57, was last seen on March 4 at a homeless shelter in Greensboro, according to Rebecca Fallon with Greensboro police.

Downey has not spoken with family members since Feb. 29, which is uncharacteristic of him.

Downey is a black male, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 215 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Downey’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (336) 373-1000.
