Rapper Snoop Dogg to headline North Carolina music festival
WILMINGTON, N.C. – Rapper Snoop Dogg will headline the Azalea Festival this year in Wilmington, according to WWAY.
The rapper will take to the Belk Main Stage Friday, April 8 with opening act Doug E. Fresh. Tickets are $46.50. The concert starts at 7 p.m.
Tickets are currently available online at NCAzaleaFestival.org and at the Azalea Festival office starting Monday.
“The Azalea Festival is so excited to have Snoop Dogg join our lineup on the 2016 Belk Main Stage. Snoop Dogg is an icon in the evolution of Hip Hop and of our generation,” Azalea Festival President Robby Collins said in a prepared statement.
Other performers at the music festival include the Avett Brothers and country singer Chase Rice. Nelly played the event’s main stage last year.
