Second Eden man pleads guilty in child prostitution case
WENTWORTH, N.C. — Thomas Woodall, 66, pleaded guilty to 12 counts of statutory sex offense and 12 counts of patronizing a prostitute with severe or profound mental disabilities in a Rockingham County Superior Court on Thursday morning, according to the Greensboro News & Record.
For several minutes, a hush covered the courtroom crowd as Judge Stan Allen pondered the sentencing.
As he looked up, the Rockingham County judge said something that was on the mind of many people in the court.
“This is a bad situation for all people involved,” Allen said.
