Suspect leads police on wild chase in stolen U-Haul

MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. -- Dashboard camera footage shows the driver of a stolen U-Haul leading police on a wild chase down a Michigan highway before crashing into a tree.

According to WWJ, Michigan State Police tried to stop the stolen U-Haul around 2 a.m. last Wednesday.

When the driver refused to pull over, police called for backup and the chase continued for nearly 20 miles down Interstate 94.

The chase ended when the U-Haul crashed into a tree on the front lawn of a home in Grosse Pointe Shores.

Both the driver and a passenger were arrested at the scene.
