LEXINGTON, N.C. — A school bus was involved in an accident in Lexington on Tuesday afternoon.
The accident happened at Old Linwood Road and Lindy Road at 3:23 p.m.
Lexington police said a 2003 Jeep Wrangler rear-ended a stopped Lexington City Schools bus.
There were 17 students on the bus at the time of the accident, Lexington police said. Two students sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the bus was transported to Wake Forest Lexington Medical Center with minor injuries.
The driver of the Jeep, 30-year-old Bryan Thomas Queen, was arrested for driving while license revoked, according to Lexington police.
Lexington police are still investigating the accident.
