Amber Alert for 4 missing children in High Point canceled

HIGH POINT, N.C. — The Amber Alert for four missing children in High Point has been canceled.

The four children — Mikiyah Woods, Yakiyah Lecco, Tanez Lecco and Natez Lecco — were located unharmed and taken into protective custody.

The alleged abductor, 29-year-old Dominique Lashawn Lecco, was arrested on outstanding warrants related to this incident, according to High Point police.

Lecco is the children’s mother, High Point police said. She is being interviewed and police are not releasing any additional information at this time.

Lecco is expected in court Wednesday, March 2.

The Amber Alert was issued at 6:11 p.m. and was canceled shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday.
